CAD was established by Tim Chetham in 2004, after having worked for various architectural practices throughout England. This breadth of experience is reflected in the range of services that CAD offers.

Qualifications include a Batchelor of Arts from Plymouth University (RIBA Part I) and a Batchelor of Architecture from Hull School of Architecture (RIBA Part II). Other qualifications include a CIOB Certificate in Site Surveying and a City & Guilds in Computer Aided Design. Academic research includes ‘Sustainable Satellite Settlements’, ’Coastal Architecture’ and ’The Legacy of High Rise Housing in Britain’. Current interests include ‘green architecture’ and sustainability through design.

In addition to academic qualifications, over eight years experience in architectural practice has provided a broad knowledge of the practical aspects of building design and contract administration. This experience includes being a member of the design team on projects up to the value of two million pounds and acting as team leader and project manager on contracts worth over £450,000.

Tim Chetham is also a fully qualified member of the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists (CIAT) - the professional body for the advancement of science and technology in architecture.
